Raquel Cabo

As Chief Strategy Officer, Raquel focuses on new product and solution development, execution of Orsini’s key corporate initiatives, accelerating our AI capabilities, and supporting our pharma partners in developing their commercial strategy as they prepare for launch. She has more than 20 years of experience across biotech and medtech, with a focus on commercial strategy and operational leadership. Before joining Orsini, Raquel was part of the founding team at Ovid Therapeutics, where she spent nearly a decade in commercial, strategy, and external affairs roles, ultimately serving as Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs & Strategy. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles at GE Healthcare, Medtronic, and Columbia University Medical Center.

Raquel serves on Baptist Health’s Al and Jane Nahmad Women’s Cancer Center Committee, the Board of Directors of the Society for Hispanic Rare Diseases, and the Ambassador Council of the University of Pennsylvania’s College of Arts and Sciences. She is also the Founder and President of the Miami Biotech Collective. She holds a BA in Psychology with honors from the University of Pennsylvania and an MSc in International Health Policy and Health Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
